Eating to support my running & my health seems to be my tool…I always plan my eating around when and what type of run I have coming up and that keeps me focused.
Anything that gets me excited about working out feels like a good tool. New stretches, logging workouts in a novel way, core moves, ice bathing, breathing techniques, new snacks, resitance bands, flow rope, indian clubs.... lucky for me, I have youtube. Currently enjoying the flow rope most of all - it opens up your core and (in theory) gets you moving more fluidly while running.
Resistance bands! Simple PT exercises with resistance bands keep me running with fewer aches and pains
My Powerblock adjustable dumbbells. Although, I got to many expansion packs......I'm a runner not a power lifter.
